GOAL
Upon successful completion of the education and examination components related to this qualification, candidates can expect to be able to:
- Define and differentiate between the concepts and principles of the Service Catalogue;
- Define a service offering which is to be published in a Service Catalogue;
- Describe and explain the usage, benefits and relationships of the different views of the Service Catalogue;
- Describe the technology encounters to create, manage, use and maintain the Service Catalogue;
- Discuss and explain a project plan approach for the creation of a Service Catalogue;
- Explain the major challenges, critical success factors and risks associated with the Service Catalogue;
- Describe and explain the key components in the creation of a business case as it relates to a Service Catalogue;
- Demonstrate the major relationships and touch points with key processes;
- Take and pass the Service Catalogue examination.
With this course and the test exam, the attendee is fully prepared for the exam ITILv3 Service Catalogue. With this course the attendee is fully prepared for either the APMG or EXIN exam. The exam consists of 40 multiple choice questions and will take 75 minutes. This exam is worth 1,5 APMG ITIL credit points.
METHOD
The course will be done group wise. Every topic will cover theory, handle examples from practice and will be applied with assignments or interactive discussions.

Upon completion of the education and examination related to this qualification, the successful candidate will have a better understanding of the Service Catalogue, which is a key element of the ITIL Service Lifecycle.
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Candidates wishing to be trained and examined for this qualification must already hold the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, preferably in version 3.
