After completion of this course the attendee has:

• Knowledge about the different BiSL process groups, BiSL processes and BiSL terminology
• Insight in the BiSL-framework and the process structure
• Practical tips and tricks for implementing BiSL in your organization
• Insight in the increasing importance of information- & functional management
• Enough knowledge for propagating this methodology within your organization
• Been fully prepared for the EXIN examination for BiSL Foundation.

 
Training method
The training course takes place in a group setting. The training content includes theory, practical examples, assignments and interactive discussions.

 
Target group
The training BiSL foundation is primarily intended for information- and functional managers, but is also intended for all other employees within the organization who are (in)directly linked to the functional management organization. Last but not least the training course is very useful for managers and employees who want to gather more knowledge about the BiSL-framework.

 
Prerequisites
You have some experience with information management, functional management, infrastructure management or application development.

The following topics will be handled during the training:

• An introduction to the BiSL Framework
• The role of functional management and information management
• The role of the different Business Information Service processes
• Relations with other ICT management methods
• The implementation and practical use of BiSL
• Preparation for the BiSL examination.
