PRINCE2 ® Practitioner edition 2009

Management of and participation in projects become more and more common aspects of the work within the day-to-day business. The project management training course focusses on the principles of project-oriented working in line with the PRINCE2 methodology. PRINCE2 is considered the standard for project management. It is a generic work method for project management and can be applied to any type of project. A set of project management documents are ready for use within PRINCE2. The strength of PRINCE2 is based on the selection and use of the appropriate documents for the given project  in combination with the general thoughts and working methods employed within PRINCE2.

Unlike the PRINCE2 Foundation, the practitioner covers the basic principles and core values through case studies, assignments and discussions in more depth. For example, in the PRINCE2 Foundation covers the concept definition of the business case while during the Practitioner the student has the assignment to prepare and write a business case based on the case study which is used during the course.
